Tenant Module

  • New Page Rights for Record History Audit - Added a Tenant Module clevr page right to be able to grant roles other than clevr Admin access to the Record History Audit Log implemented in clevr V12.4. When granted, the Record History Audit Log gives a user the ability to see changes made to records including the date and the name of the user who made the update. 

  • AD / LDAP Parameters for Location and Role Alignment - Added a new section to manage AD Security Group configuration within the Tenant Module to configure LDAP and moved settings to an LDAP Configuration tab with a section to support multiple security groups.

editor

  • New School Dropdown that Displays the City or Town the School is Located In - A new school dropdown custom type has been created. This new dropdown displays the name of the school with the name of the city or town the school is located in within brackets. When this dropdown has been added to the form, it will look like this: Douglas Elementary (Toronto). This will greatly help districts distinguish between locations when there are multiple schools with the same name. If there is no value in the city name field, the dropdown will display N/A.  

  • New File Upload Custom Type - A new file upload custom type has been created. Within the Editor it can be found labelled “Common: File Upload and View”. This custom type will work within a repeater and allows you to upload seperate files to different tabs.

bug fixes

  • Tenant Module - Increased the character limit of the proprietary role ID field within the tenant module

  • Advanced Search, Bulk Data Entry, Bulk Print

    • Changed Background Colour - The background colour in Advanced Search, Bulk Data Entry, and Bulk Print has been changed from grey to white

    • Unable to Search with a Text Input Field - Resolved an issue introduced in clevr V12.5 that blocked the ability to search text input fields.

  • Forms - Resolved an issue preventing the school query from working when SIS integration was not enabled on the field

  • Notifications - Resolved an issue preventing notifications from being deployed when the school name contained an apostrophe

Tenant Module

  • If form has custom permissions, it is indicated with a “Yes” or “No” attribute within the Form Rights tab of the Tenant Module. When “Yes” is displayed, it means that there is a container, tab, or element with rights that deviate from the base form right. “No” means that the rights within all containers, tabs, or elements match the base access right.

Editor

  • Relative Positioning Fix - Improved relative positioning for multiple repeaters within a container. Eventually the goal is to eliminate the need for relative positioning.

  • Auto-complete Attribute List - Now when adding a new attribute to an element, when you begin typing an auto-complete list of matching attributes will be displayed that you can choose from.

  • Single Student Multi-Report Custom Type - A new custom type link is available within the Editor called “Single Student Multi-Report”. When added to a form, clicking it generates a master PDF file with all printouts available to that user.

Advanced Search

  • A new option is available within Advanced Search to display the legal name of a student in the results page when the checkbox for “Display Legal Name” is selected.

performance enhancement

  • Force JavaScript File Cache to Clear When a New Release is Applied - This ensures the cache is cleared after a release to ensure the version number is updated in reference libraries

bug fixes

  • Editor

    • Resolved an issue with the Editor where it gets into in an endless loading loop upon clicking publish while using the new copy report feature

    • Relative Positioning - Fixed an issue where the content of a show/hide area did not stay on it’s designated area on the form and would appear at random places on the page

    • Image Missing from Notification Custom Type - Resolved an issue where an image was missing from the notification custom type

  • Bulk Data Entry - Resolved an issue that was causing the “Bulk Data Entry Complete” toast message to fail to appear when a Bulk Data Entry was performed

  • Forms - Resolved an issue that caused a stored procedure to be invalidated

  • Client Specific

    • LSSD - Resolved an issue where teachers were seeing students not associated with their PowerSchool classes for LSSD

    • DDSB - Resolved an issue for the DDSB local install with regard to collation difference between the temp database and the live database

    • CCSD - Resolved an issue where notifications were being deployed to all locations the student was associated with. This has been updated to ensure notifications are only deployed to the school selected within the school dropdown. 


Version 12.2

Release Date: May 9th, 2019

Login Audit Log

  • New log module that allows admin-level users to review user account login attempts. With a similar interface to the user module, view the most recent login attempts or the login attempts over a specified date range.

editor

  • A new “Copy All” option is available within the Editor when copying a form. Now you can select whether to copy just the form or include the printouts too.
    Note: Compatible with HTML printouts only, legacy printouts (C#) are not supported in this feature

Active Directory

  • Clients who log in with active directory authentication (Ex: LDAP, ADFS, SSO, etc) will be directed to a blank page upon logout that says “You have successfully logged out of clevr”. Previously they would be directed to the clevr login page.

bug fixes

  • Integration - Resolved an issue where locations were occasionally removed from students during the SIS integration routines.

  • Editor - Resolved an issue where the rights for the internal clevr admin role were appearing as random roles within the Editor. This has been updated so that internal clevr Admin rights are not shown to other roles.

  • Homescreen - Previously, if a staff member that had a user account had their record for a form removed from the Homescreen it would remove that form from their account preventing to access it and breaking it if it was the default form in their account. This issue has been resolved.

  • Client Specific - Calgary Board of Education - Changed the messaging within a popup on the Off Campus or On Campus Agreement to be more meaningful. Now users will receive a pop up asking “Do you want to import the Employer details (i.e. address, phone number, etc) for the selected employer?”
